Arizona Spring Training

This past weekend I visited Arizona with Stephen and his family. We journeyed out there for baseball spring training. While San Diego maintained a cool climate, I traveled to the desert where it was in the high 80′s to low 90′s . We went to three Padres games in three days! Needless to say, I got quickly acquainted with Arizona  and while I don’t see myself ever living there, it was a fun new experience nonetheless. Today I wanted to share a few of my favorite pictures from our road trip…

We left at 5am on Friday to make a 1:00 game so we got to see the sunrise through the mountains on the drive out there. It was so beautiful and rather desolate.

It was a fun three day getaway. To balance out all the baseball, Stephen made sure to sneak in a trip to a mall and go to the theater to see Oz The Great and Powerful! All and all, it was a great trip but boy did I love coming home to beautiful San Diego. I honestly believe I live in the greatest city in the world!

  8. It is really so different there! I’ve never been to Arizona or anywhere like that and it seems so alien. I would love to visit sometime!
