This last week I went on an amazing vacation to Mexico with my fiancé and his family. We left from San Diego and visited Puerto Vallarta and Cabo. Here are a few highlights of my trip…
View from the top of the ship.
The lido deck pool.
Charming chairs we found in the designated kid area.
I want one in each color.
Puerto Vallarta rained the better part of both days we were there, but it was still a beautiful tropical rain.
I loved the cobblestoned streets, especially in the rain.
Pipi’s was the best meal I had on my trip! This is a picture of the best Pina Colada I’ve ever had! It’s made with all fresh ingredients and it puts all of those pre-made mixes to shame.
At Pipi’s, table side guacamole is complimentary and delicious.
Chicken fajitas.
The best shrimp fajitas I’ve ever had.
Puerto Vallarta harbor.
Vanishing edge pool at the Marriot.
Puerto Vallarta beach.
Cabo harbor.
Cabo beach.
His and hers Pina Coladas and sunglasses.
Shrimp tacos in Cabo.
This trip was my first experience on a cruise. I really enjoyed being at sea. I felt a tad queasy the first and last night, but other than that, it was smooth sailing. It took us three days to get to Puerto Vallarta and two days to get home from Cabo so of the 7 day cruise, we were only in port for three days. I only wish we had been able to spend longer in each place.
I got to rest and relax and spend a lot of quality family time with my future in-laws: So overall it was a success. Now back to real life!
I hope you all have a wonderful start to your new week!
